In what order the documents are issued
- 1
Before the campaign
The exporter's registration and campaign authorisation are in place, so the lot can legally leave the country.
- 2
While the lot is built
Quality analysis and weighbridge tickets are produced lot by lot, as nuts are cut-tested and weighed.
- 3
Before loading
The phytosanitary inspection, certificate of origin and customs declaration are completed; the commercial invoice and packing list are drawn up.
- 4
After loading
The carrier issues the bill of lading, which is released according to the agreed payment terms.
Matching your letter of credit
Most delays at the bank come from small discrepancies between the documents and the wording of the letter of credit or contract: a product description, a port name, a quantity format.
We send the full document set as a single, indexed file. If your bank or your customs broker needs a specific wording, tell us before loading and we build the file around it.
Buying without a company in Guinea-Bissau
No. Where a buyer does not want to incorporate locally or take out an export licence, Bafata Agri Resources can organise the export in its own name, subject to contractual and regulatory validation.
